RONALD B. MANNING
On June 15, 2006, the Board of Disciplinary Appeals entered an interlocutory order of suspension against Galveston attorney Ronald B. Manning, 53, SBOT Card No. 12940990. On or about September 16, 2005, Manning was found guilty of theft over $200,000, a first degree felony, an intentional crime as defined in the Texas Rules of Disciplinary Procedure , in Cause No. 994363 styled, The State of Texas v. Ronald B. Manning, in the 339 th District Court of Harris County, Texas. Manning was sentenced to 28 years of imprisonment in the custody of the Institutional Division of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. He was also assessed a fine of $10,000 and court costs of $437. Manning has appealed the conviction. In the event that the conviction becomes final, Manning will be disbarred from the practice of law.
