LEANDRO DAVID MARTINEZ v. Comm'n for Lawyer Discipline

On February 6, 2003, the Board of Disciplinary Appeals dismissed for want of prosecution the appeal of Weslaco attorney Leandro David Martinez, 43, SBOT Card No. 13142710, of a judgment of partially probated suspension issued by the Evidentiary Panel for the State Bar of Texas District 12B grievance committee in Case No. S2110003088 on April 24, 2002. The Board found that Martinez did not file a reporter's record or a brief. The Board issued an Order to Show Cause to Martinez on December 5, 2002, giving him 30 days to respond and show cause as to why this appeal should not be dismissed for want of prosecution. Martinez did not respond.
