On or about June 23, 2017, the Supreme Court of California signed an Order disbarring Al Fadel Amer, 50, in State Bar Court Case Nos. 15-O-13372 (15-O-13972), In re Al Fadel Amer on Discipline. He defaulted in the disciplinary proceeding, resulting in the admission of eight findings of misconduct in two separate cases: RPC 3-310(F) accepting fees from a non-client; Section 6068(m) failure to respond to client status inquiries; RPC 3-700(A)(2) improper withdrawal; RPC 3-700(D)(2) failure to refund unearned fees; Section 6106 moral turpitude – misrepresentation;RPC 3-310(F) accepting fees from a non-client; RPC 3-700(D)(2) failure to refund unearned fee.
