On June 12, 2002, the Board of Disciplinary Appeals signed a Judgment of Indefinite Disability Suspension against Corning, California attorney Thomas Webster Freer-Heeter, 38, SBOT Card No. 00789796, in accordance with Part XII of the Texas Rules of Disciplinary Procedure and Section 8 of the Internal Procedural Rules of the Board of Disciplinary Appeals. Freer-Heeter appealed this to the Supreme Court of Texas - Case No. 02-0645. On December 12, 2002, the Supreme Court affirmed the decision of the Board of Disciplinary Appeals.
