On August 1, 2018 the Board of Disciplinary Appeals affirmed the judgment of public reprimand of College Station attorney Robert A. Swearingen, 62, State Bar of Texas Card No. 19563050 signed on October 25, 2017 by Evidentiary Panel 8-1 for the State Bar of Texas District 8 grievance committee in Case No. 201605375 The evidentiary panel found that Swearingen violated TDRPC 1.09(a)(3). Mr. Swearingen appealed the Board's decision to the Texas Supreme Court, case no. 18-0761 and the Court affirmed the public reprimand on December 14, 2018. BODA cause number 60011.
